China's Fireworks Display Highlights - 4th Leg of the 3rd Philippine International Pyromusical Competition
The 4th leg of 2012 Pyromusical Competition seems to be best week so far in the series. With Champion China battling with new comer Netherlands who entered with a big bang. The crowd attendance on this leg seems to be the largest so far due to the great expectations from China's performance. The crowd did not get disappointed and got what they expected. China's performance was like an opera! With the backdrop of a Chinese folk tale about a woodsman and a fox, acts after acts, China displayed their magnificent fireworks repertoire. The only thing, I was not to impressed is the lull in action in between the acts due to the narration. Hopefully, it would not cost China any points.
Here are some of the highlights of China's fireworks display which I found quit impressive due to new types of fireworks combinations that I have not seen before. You can click on any of the photo for a larger view.
Here are the video highlights for China's operatic performance. Apologies for the distraction of the hand and cardboard of the adjacent photographer appearing in the frame once in a while.
